Noah’s Ark, Uganda
Noah’s Ark Children’s Ministry Uganda is an interdenominational Christian organization in Uganda. The foundation was established in 1999 by Piet and Pita Buitendijk. The organization now consists of a children’s home, a nursery school, a primary school, a vocational training center, a medical clinic, and numerous other social and medical outreach programs in the surrounding areas.
Noah’s Ark focuses on Uganda’s most vulnerable children and the areas in the immediate vicinity that are most affected by poverty. Over the years, Noah’s Ark has impacted the lives of thousands of children and adults. Currently, hundreds of children call Noah’s Ark their home, with over 350 students enrolled in their schools, and the medical clinic has helped countless others in the surrounding community.
